| | The eligibility of the programme is Masters’ Degree in Management/ Management/ Commerce/ Agricultural Economics/ Dairy Economics/ Livestock Economics/ Vety. Economics with an OGPA of not less than 6.500/10.00 or 4.000/5.000 or first division in case of the universities where grading system is not applicable. Those appearing for the final year Degree examinations (mentioned above) may also apply. |

The key approach to attain the objective of PGP is the instructional methodology and the evaluation system of both students and teachers. The instructional methodology practiced is interactive, through discussion on real-life case studies of the agribusiness sector, and optimum use of audio-visual aids and computer by the in-house faculty as well as by the visiting faculty, comprising practicing managers from leading
management firms. |

| | Course Structure |

| | In the first year,
students are given a holistic view of general principles of management covering
all functional areas of management. The students are tested in the field during
their summer training at various corporate houses. Successively, in the third
semester students acquire expertise in the specific industries of their choice
viz. input supply, food, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, pesticides, farm
machinery etc.. In the final semester students undertake full-time final project
(four months) which helps them to take off intricacies of the target industry. |
