The College Of Agribusiness Management(CABM) is the part of G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. University has a perimeter of 28.52km covering a gross area of 16,000 acres. The campus is surrounded with a lush green plantation in the foothills of the Himalayas in the district of Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand state on the Delhi–Nainital and Lucknow–Nainital routes.Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology was established in 1960.The objectives of the university are making provision for the education of the rural people of Uttar Pradesh (now Uttaranchal) in different branches of study, particularly agriculture, rural industry, business and allied subjects.

College of agribusiness management was established in 1996, Ever since its establishment the focus of the institution has been to cater to the needs of the business in the emerging world with Over a period of one and a half decades the college has produced over more than 600 management graduates serving India as well as abroad. The college provides two full time Post graduate programmes viz. Master of Business Administration and Master of Agri-Business Administration duly approved and certified by AICTE. The programmes have been designed to equip budding managers with the latest technical knowledge and refine their domain of expertise and skills. The faculty also provides for a Doctoral Programme in Management.

To provide qualified, well-trained, motivated and committed managers, upgrade managerial skills of practicing managers and solve managerial problems through contract research and consultancy to help achieve managerial excellence in agribusiness and other sectors in the country. The CABM aims to become the harbinger of managerial excellence in Indian agribusiness and other sectors as well as to become the best sectoral business management institution in the country.
